Minnie Fox, 83, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at a Weatherford nursing home.

Minnie Lou Alford Fox was born May 22, 1923 in Crisp, Texas, daughter of the late George Washington Alford and Teedy Rose Haught Alford. She married A.J. Fox, June 19, 1942 in Ennis, Texas. She was a devoted and loving minister's wife, playing the piano and guitar and singing for services. She will be missed for her outgoing devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; four sisters; and a precious granddaughter, Mandy Hill.

Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Rev. Adolph J. Fox of Weatherford; children and spouses, Glenn and Florence Fox of Weatherford, Don and Paula Fox of Weatherford, Brenda and Bill Bertocchini of Plano, Carolyn and Johnny Hill of Midlothian; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, George Alford of Dallas, James Alford of Fort Worth; sisters, Estelle Boling of Fort Worth, Billie Tubb of Centerville; and many other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Lakeside Church of God, 9396 FM 1886 in Lakeside. Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
