Elizabeth White "Betty Gorsuch" Figus
PALM DESERT, CA: "Mother, Grandmother, Actor, Friend, Storyteller, Lover of Life, Adventurer, Generous and Kind. Lisa Figus passed away peacefully in her sleep, in her home in Palm Desert, California with her family near her. She was 93 years old. Lisa is best known for her role as Nurse Georgia on the soap opera General Hospital. Born Elizabeth "Betty" Gorsuch in Zanesville, Ohio, she lived a very colorful life. Her first husband, David White, played Larry Tate on Bewitched. Her second husband was chief pilot for Alitalia. Living 25 years in Italy and being married to a pilot allowed Lisa to travel the world and enjoy life to the fullest. An expert bridge player, her games were famous mostly for the jokes Lisa loved telling, to everyone's delight. She'll be dearly missed. She's survived by her daughter Alexandra White, her sons Marco and Federico Figus, daughters in law Laurenne and Dana, five grandchildren and hundreds of friends".
