Mrs. Lille Bell Cable, 83, of RD1, Wampum, died Monday, November 19, 1979, at 2:35 pm, in Ellwood City Hospital following a brief illness.

Born May 18, 1898, in North Sewickley Township, daughter of the late Abraham and Elizabeth Hazen Smith, she was a member of the Lillian Hofman Circle of the Providence Baptist Church, Ellwood City, and attended Chewton Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, H. James Cable, to whom she was married 63 years; a daughter, Mrs. Doris L.Houk, RD1, Wampum; a brother, Clare M. Smith, Ellwood City; and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Blinn and Mrs Mildred Aiken, both of Ellwood-New Castle Road. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Mrs. Mae Redmond, Mrs. Bessie Blinn, Miss Fern Smith, and Mrs. Pearl Kramer. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: William D., Fred H., and Floyd Smith.

Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in the Robert S. Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street, Wampum, where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11am by Mr. James Dempsey, minister of the Chewton Christian Church.
Internment will be in Graceland Cemetery, New Castle, Pennsylvania.
