William L. Hanson

William L. Hanson, 76, brother of Henry P. Hanson of Chanute, died Tuesday at his home in Gardena, California, following a long illness. He was born July 9, 1882, in Salina, to Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Hanson.

The body will be brought to Chanute where the funeral service will be held at the Roy S. Gibson Funeral Home. Burial will be at the side of his wife in Omaha, Nebraska. Further arrangements are incomplete.

He was married to Tina Wittstruck March 4, 1907, in Lincoln, Nebraska, where they lived until her death in 1929. Following her death, he moved to Los Angeles, where he had since resided. He attended the Congregational Church in Salina.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Catherine Campbell of Colorado Springs; two brothers, Henry P. of Chanute, and Richard G. of Overland Park. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Gus Larson, and a brother, Charles Hanson.
