Washougal - A 30-year resdient of Washougal, Lois Irene Husby, 66, died in a Portland hospital Monday, Feb. 2, 1998.
Mrs. Husby graduated from Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, with a bachelor's degree in business and teaching certificate. She taught school and was a piano teacher for 25 years.
Mrs. Husby liked traveling and gardening and love animals.
She was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Beaver, Ore., and was a member and pianist for the Fourth Plain Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Hank, at home; three daughters, Carmen Davis or Port Orchard, Wash., Kathi Ferguson of Bremerton, and Kari Fowler of San Diego; two sone, Nathan of Washougal and Larry of Olalla, Wash.; three brothers, Lloyd Becker of Renton, Raymond Becker of Hillsboro, Ore., and Rollie Becker of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Eunice Bentley of Beaver and Shirley Powers of Napa, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the Fourth Plain Church of the Nazarene, followed by burial in Washougal Memorial Cemetery. The casket will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
