He was the son of Albert Gallatin Henderson Brandon and Susan Emily (Johnson) Brandon and married Bessie Ann Gray - 13 Jul 1913 - Moore Co., Tennessee.

His Obituary:

Funeral services for William Mack Brandon, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning from the chapel of Harrison Funeral Home. Rev. Stanley Henley and Rev. Thomas Vann will officiate. Burial will be in Lynchburg Cemetery.

Mr. Brandon died Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Harper, in the Marble Hill community.

He was a native of Moore County, a son of the late Albert and Susan Johnson Brandon. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors in addition to his daughter are three sons, James Tillman Brandon of Huntsville, Alabama, William Eldridge Brandon of Dover, New Jersey, and Rev. Douglas Gray Brandon of Trion, Georgia; two brothers, J. B. Brandon of Tullahoma and Angus Brandon of Hialeah, Florida; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Millsaps, Bobby Harrison, M. G. Harrison, Barney Baker, Record Millsaps, and James Gray.
