Mrs. Hazel I (Holzapfel) Ablard, 78, Delphos, KS died March 10, 1984 at the Ottawa County Hospital in Minneapolis, KS.

Mrs. Ablard was born Oct. 28, 1904, on farm near Miltonvale, and worked at the Miltonvale Post office prior to her marriage. She lived on a farm near the Pipe Creek community until moving to Delphos in 1968.

She was a member of the Delphos United Methodist Church in Delphos, KS.

She married Hubert Ablard on July 30, 1927. He died in 1969.

She is survived by three daughters, Norma Banasky and Janice Pounds, both of Delphos, and Carol Lohmann, Lincoln; a sister, Mildred Phillipson, Minneapolis; 9 grandchildren; and six great-grand-children.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Delphos United Methodist Church, the Revs. James Flick and Claude McMinn officiating. Burial will be in the Hall Cemetery, southeast of Delphos.

Memorials may be sent to the Delphos Rest Home.
