MRS MARY ELLEN CLEARY

EL PASO -- Mrs. Mary Ellen Cleary, 80, of Chicago died at 2 p.m. Friday at home, after an extended illness. The body will be at the Otto-Vincent Memorial home in El Paso Tuesday morning.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (daylight) Tuesday in St Mary's Church. The Rev. James A. Dollard will officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
She was born Feb 22, 1867 in El Paso a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Wighton Doyle. She was married to James W. Cleary in El Paso in 1889. They lived in El Paso until about 20 years ago when they moved to Chicago. Mr Cleary died in February 1947.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Ave Marie Murphy and Mrs Monica Ann Hanifin both of Chicago, Mrs Marcella Elizabeth Mazell of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs Calista Rose Forster of Phoeniz, Ariz.; five sons, James Garnett and Luke Doyle of San Francisco, Calif., Cletus A. and Thomas Gerald both of Chicago, and Cecil Joseph of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, Dr. Thomas E Doyle of Chicago and three sisters, Sister Mary Bede of Sinsinasa, Wis., Mrs Anna Haas of El Paso, Mrs Rose Graf of La Porte, Ind., 10 grandchildren.
She was a member of St Mary's Alter and Rosary society and the Holy Cross church of Chicago.
