Ms. Myrtle Ruth Page Lowman, 91, of Bear Creek, N.C., died Monday, April 3, 2017.
Ruth was born on August 14, 1925 to Charlie Hasten Page and Callie Yow. A lifelong resident of Bear Creek, she worked at Boling Chair Co. for 30 years, and was a beloved member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. Her sense of humor was infectious, and her perspective on life was admirable…she never complained. When she wasn’t talking on the telephone, or keeping her grandkids fed, she enjoyed church trips and being outdoors.
She is survived by a daughter, three sons, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
