LAYTON – Velma Murielene Bedsaul, 75, passed away September 10, 2017.

She was born June 24, 1942 the daughter of Muriel and Velma Hutchinson Bedsaul in Coalville, Utah. She was so proud to be named after both of her parents and she let everyone know it.

Murielene was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to go to the special needs Mutual and participate in the Road-Shows. She loved everyone there.

Murielene loved to thread beads, making necklaces and bracelets for everyone and working on plastic canvas.

Her greatest love is her boyfriend Mike Hobbs who she loved for over 40 years. Their love is unconditional.

She is survived by her sister Kathy Bedsaul Waddoups, brother-in-law, Reo Waddoups, Layton; Willow (our new puppy), many nieces, nephews, special cousin Terry and Dee Allison, Coalville, Utah; who took care of Murielene one week out of the year, as well as many cousins, and one Aunt Ada Hutchinson, Evanston, Wyoming.

Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sandra Barnes, brother-in-law, Alma Barnes, sister Diana Bedsaul, brother Baby Bedsaul, Mocha and Shimmer (our beloved dogs), grandparents, William and Bertha Hutchinson, and Frank and Grace Bedsaul.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Coalville Cemetery.
