From Wealth to Poverty: Will Graham, aged 79 years, and a pioneer of the Jelm district, died yesterday at that place from a complication of diseases, and with his death came the close of an eventful life, the like of which is not often found even in the history of the hardy pioneers who nourished the state in it's infancy. From poverty to riches, from riches to poverty and in the end a pauper's grave, such is the history of Graham's life in brief. In the early days Graham was reputed to be quite wealthy. Reverses of fortune followed and several years ago he was compelled to become a ward of the county. In such circumstances he and his wife, who died a month ago to the day, lived by necessity. And in such circumstances both died. The remains of the unfortunate man were buried today at Jelm.
