Daughter of Cefus Day John and Elizabeth McGregor. Wife of Robert Marshall Lee Burns.

She is on the left in the attached photo with her sister Grace Hoy.

MRS. MARION V. BURNS
Mrs. Marion V. Burns, 72, died at 1:45 this morning at her home in Pleasant Hope. Born in Illinois, Mrs. Burns moved to the Pleasant Hope vicinity at the age of 8 and had lived there ever since. Survivors include a son, Homer, of Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Eastburn of Halfway, and a sister, Mrs. Gracie Hoy of Norman, Okla.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 Sunday afternoon in the Presbyterian church at Pleasant Hope, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Pleasant Hope cemetery under direction of Erwin of Pleasant Hope.
