Beatrice Joy Judd, 86, of Charles Town, passed away Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 27, 1931, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late, Jacob Riley and Eleanora (Mullenix) Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Jetta Wolfinger, Jacob R. Adams, William R. Adams and Jack L. Adams. Mrs. Judd was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Judd was a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Inwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Horace G. Judd; two children, Stephen G. Judd of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Susan Y. Wycoski and husband, Paul, of Boonsboro, Maryland; two grandchildren, Sarah E. Wycoski and Stephen T. Wycoski.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Inwood, 634 Middleway Pike, Inwood, WV 25428, with Pastor Devin Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Judd, Stephen Wycoski, Jerry Cramer, Allen Mahoney, Ed Linton and Bill Slonaker. Friends will be received one hour prior to services Monday, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Beatrice’s name, to the First Baptist Church of Inwood, address above.
