Debetra Sonderman Mitchell, 90, of Ripley passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Lauderdale Community Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Wednesday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Garner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mitchell, a retired employee of Universal Electric, was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
The widow of James “Buddy” Mitchell, she is survived by a daughter Linda Simpson of Ripley; a son Jimmy Mitchell of Ripley; a sister Martha Woodruff of Ripley; 2 brothers David Sonderman of Ripley and Perry Sonderman of Memphis; 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
