MRS. JACOB BOWERS, 68, DIES AT BOWERSTOWN
Mrs. Jacob Bowers, sixty-eight, died Friday morning at 5:30 o'clock at her home in Bowerstown after an illness of five years and a serious illness of seven months.
Mrs. Bowers was Nancy Elizabeth Gregg. She was born in Stark county[sic Preble County], Ohio, to Mr. and Mrs. John Gregg, April 27, 1859. She married Mr. Bowers October 15, 1877. four children were born to the union. One daughter, Mary Alice, is dead.
Surviving are the husband and children, Mrs. Edith Drabenstot, William O. Bowers and Samuel H. Bowers, all of Bowerstown. There are fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bowers was a member of the Church of the Brethren where services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. R. O. Shank in charge. Burial will be at Zion cemetery.
