Louise Gardner Arrowood
Louise Gardner Arrowood, age 84, of Marion died Sunday August 21, 2005 in Gastonia, NC.
Born in McDowell County on October 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lottie Lail Gardner.
Mrs. Arrowood was a member of Nebo United Methodist Church. She was retired from W. W. Wall Mfg. Company. Her family will remember her as a beloved mother and grandmother.
Her husband James Harold Arrowood preceded her in death.
Surviving Mrs. Arrowood are her four children: Joyce Mosier of Gastonia, NC, Harold Arrowood, Jr. of Marion, Jack Arrowood of Marion and Jim Camp, Jr. of Gastonia, NC. Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her.
A funeral service was held Tuesday August 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Gary Leonard officiating. The family received friends from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment was in McDowell Memorial Park.
