Lula E. Bower, 97, of Greensburg passed away on September 14, 2017 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. She was born on August 21, 1920 in Decatur County, the daughter of John and Myrtle (Baker) Low. Lula married William C. Bower on November 6, 1939 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1987. Together they had two sons, Bill and Bryan Bower. Lula worked at Bohn Aluminum for 15 years. She was a member of the Greensburg County Club and the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Son-Bill (Stephanie) Bower of Muncie, Indiana; Grandchildren- Bill (Heather) Bower and Keith (Mary) Barkdull; Great Grandchildren- Caleb Harlem, Claire Bower, and Luke Bower. She was preceded in death by: her Parents, Husband, Infant Son-Bryan; Sister- Margaret Low Williams; and Brother- Lester Low.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral service at 2:00 pm. Pastor Steve Wood will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
