OF A SAD ACCIDENT
Utican's in general were shocked by the tragic death of little Pearl Marie Wilkinson,age 5 years,who was struck and killed by a jitney operating in West Utica Wednesday evening.The accident occurred in front of the child's home,128 Lafayette St. and after being struck Pearl was taken to St.Elizabeth's Hospital where she passed away shortly after.
Pearl M Wilkinson the innocent little victim of the accident was the youngest of four children of Mr and Mrs Earl J. Wilkinson.She was born in this city October 20,1909.A sweet lovable child she was greatly admired by all who knew her. She attended Faxton Kindergarten and was a favorite with her teacher and playmates.Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers,James Earl and Jesse William both of this city and a sister Clara Margaret Wilkinson of Hecla.
