Mrs. Hill was the daughter of George H. Stewart. She married Francis Hill in 1886 in Colorado Springs. She was a well known artist and loved the wild flowers. Mrs. Hill was in a sanitorium in Danville, New York at her death and her body was brought back to the Springs. Her services were held at the old home at 116 N. Weber St. and was officiated by Rev. W. Pratt of the All Souls Church. She was a friend of Helen Hunt Jackson.
