Marie Abide Malouf, 88, a homemaker died of heart failure Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at home. Services are 11 a.m. today at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood. Wilson & Knight Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Father Thomas Delaney is officiating the service.
Mrs. Malouf died peacefully at her home surrounded by her children. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwood and a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Mrs. Malouf was precede in death by her husband of 53 years, Dewey Malouf Sr.; her parents, A. G. and Rachadle Abide, and her sister, Stella Malouf.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary Ann Tyrone (Jim) of West Memphis, AR. and Martha Louis Ueltschey (Watts) of Jackson; three sons, John Malouf (Debbie) of Greenwood, Dewey Malouf Jr. (Zada) of Jackson and George Malouf (Kathy) of Madison; two sisters, Louis Ellis of Greenwood and Jean Lupe of Canton; one brother, A.G. Abide Jr. of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
