MR. MIKE PROKOP beloved husband of Mrs. Lydia Prokop of Lethbridge passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Monday, December 13, 2004 at the age of 71 years.

Besides his loving wife Lydia, Mike is survived by his children: as well as his grandchildren: Mike is also survived by his brother Steve (Evelyn) Prokop and sister Jenny (Bill) Feher; sisters-in-law Deloris Driedger and Fay (Lawrence) Yoner; brother-in-law Ken (Dalaine) Huber, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was predeceased by his father Andrew Prokop, his mother Rose Prokop and his infant son Robin.

Mike worked many years at Lethbridge Battery prior to operating his own business, General Toy & Hobby Craft. Mike was a member of the 32nd Tech Squadron R.C.E.M.E. and the 18th Independent Field Battery Regiment. He devoted much of his time to the youth as a coach of the Norcrest Little League Crush Cubs and assistant coach to the Norcrest All-stars; taking the team to the Little League World Series. He also devoted many years to the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corp as commanding officer and band instructor. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion serving as Poppy Chairman and First Vice.
