Anna Morrison Spencer “Mamacita” passed away peacefully on March 23, 2016, at the age of 102. She was born on March 8, 1914, in Preston, Idaho, to John A. Morrison and Anna D. Miller, the third of nine children.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Elwood Spencer, and is survived by their six children; Berkley Arnold (Birgitta); Provo, Utah; Richard Elwood (Peggy); Bend, Oregon; Beverly Ann Ballif; Hatch, Utah; Frances Kay (John) Cliff; Franklin, Tennessee; Robert Keith (Carol); Las Vegas, Nevada; and Kurtice Ray (Kelly); Pleasant Grove, UT; and one brother, Calvin Q. Morrison (Norma); Pahrump, Nevada. She has 19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Anna enthusiastically followed her husband to live in many parts of the world while he served in the Peace Corp and for USAID. Her gentle nature endeared her to all who knew her.

Special gratitude is expressed to the caretakers at the BeeHive Home in American Fork, Utah where she received such loving care over the past six years.
