A native of Schley County, Mrs. Roberts was born June 27, 1912, a daughter of the late Henry Claude Poole and Verta Eulala Wall Poole. She was the widow of Lynwood Ancel Roberts.
Mrs. Roberts was a school teacher, a member of the Weston's Woman's Club and a member of Weston Baptist Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, Dec. 18 at Foreman's Cemetery in Webster County with Rev. Wallace Willis officiating. Asked to serve as honorary pallbearers are Phillip Jones, Grady Leverett, Jr., Billy Monkus, Alfred Hudson, Raymond Goodwin, David Lawrence, Hubert Patterson and Rooks Harmon.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to Weston Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Danny Roberts of Parrott; a special niece, Peggy Usry and her husband Eugene of Ellaville and a special cousin Gordon Moncus and his wife Geraldine of Columbus. A number of other nieces and nephews also survive.
