Jackson was my black American Cocker Spaniel. We spent many years together, just me and him before I met my husband.

I spied him in a pet shop. They had him out of his cage for a run and he had the tail feathers of a bird in his mouth and would not let it go!

I remember when my husband and I were in bed one night and Jackson was in the garden barking and digging under the fence. We went out the back door to try and calm him. Quick as a flash Jackson ran in the back door with very muddy feet, skidded through our two-way bathroom, jumped on the bed and flew straight back out the door, leaving what seemed a wake of destruction behind him!

Unfortunately he went blind in both eyes (due to poor breeding) and wasnt enjoying life very much, so the only kind thing to do was to say goodbye. He now rests in our garden.

REST IN PEACE BUD.

A BIG THANKYOU TO ANGEL MOZ AND LUCY FOR SPONSORING JACKSON'S MEMORIAL - WHAT AN AMAZING THING TO DO. IT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
