He was a longtime member of local 106, employed at DML Construction, and an active Mason and Shriner. Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family at Rathbun Lake.
He was married 17 years to Jill (Chambers) Dakovich. Together they have raised two children, Jacob and Jacey. Rick was known as a hard working man, big hearted, and always wearing a smirk on his face.
Survivors include wife Jill, son Jacob, daughter Jacey, father Richard (Betty) Dakovich, mother Beverly Dakovich, and numerous other family members and friends.
