Gary Lynn Brewer, age 61 of Monticello, formerly of Rison, passed away on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at UAMS. He was born on November 2, 1955 in Pulaski County.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Gary was the Chief of Police in Rison for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.

Survivors include three daughters and one son; Keri (Brewer) and Robert Levecchia of Ward, Keli (Brewer) and Dana Boykin of Monticello, Kyle and Melissa Brewer of Rison, and Kacy (Brewer) and Jason Bradshaw of Sheridan. Gary has 9 grandchildren Emerson Levecchia, Payton, Nathan, Kaitlyn, and Lana Boykin, Jake and Leah Brewer, and Kassidy and Jana Bradshaw. Gary also has 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters, Roger and Barbara Brewer, Linda and Derwood Stewart, Cindy Cullins, Charlotte Collins, and Terry Cullins.

A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, July16, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel in Monticello.
