He was retired and had worked at Churchill Downs. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his wife, his son, two daughters, a brother, a sister, 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
