Betty Jo Boothe, 86 of North Tazewell, VA died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, VA. Born December 3, 1930 at Newhall, WV, she was a daughter of the late Echo and Lanie Fritz Waldron. She was a member of Fincastle Baptist Church in Tazewell, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Woodrow Boothe, Sr.; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Boothe French; three sisters; three brothers.
She is survived by her son, Arthur W. Boothe, Jr. and wife, Vickie of Tazewell, VA; daughter, Bettie Stevenson of Tazewell, VA; five grandchildren, Kimberly Ewig and husband, Mike, Jessica Lewis and husband, Tom, Ana Howell and husband, Chase, Mathew Stevenson and wife, Donna, and Angela Snee and husband, Bernard; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; special nephew, Mike Holstein of Avon Lake, OH; several other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 PM Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Peery & St.Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 PM with Pastor Rick Mallory officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday at Grandview Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Bluefield, VA.
