The E.E. Cummings line, "I carry your heart with me
(I carry it in my heart)," describes how Patti always felt and how her family thinks of her.
She was born Sept. 24, 1961, in Hope, Ariz. Patti graduated from Charles Francis Adams High School in Clarkston in 1980.
Patti met Roy Moreno in 1980 when she moved to Helena. They were married in 1985 and divorced in 2003.
Patti loved children and was a terrific babysitter and child-care provider. She loved all her nieces and nephews very much.
Patti had a very big heart. She collected fairy and angel figurines. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fifth Ward in Helena.
She also worked for the Florence Crittenton Home Daycare Center, and as a bus aide for the Helena School District.
A favorite pastime of Patti's was working with colored pencils in intricate designs. She was very proud of a recent gift from her friend, Tony: a Bible.

Patti was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Gilbert and Mary Candler, and her nephew, Aaron Sandon
A celebration of Patti's life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Cremation has already taken place.
