Mrs. Susan V. Allison

Mrs. Susan Virginia Allison, 83, died Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Cunningham near Chester, following a stroke of paralysis which she suffered about a week ago. Mrs. Allison, a daughter of Charles and Mary Allison, was born Dec. 26, 1853 and spent her lifetime in Hancock county. She was married in 1872 to Isaac F. Allison, who died 19 years ago. She was a member of the Asbury Methodist Episcopal church. Besides Mrs. Cunningham, the deceased is survived by five grandchildren and one great - grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Cunningham home Saturday at 10 a.m. in charge of Rev. Josiah Osmond, pastor of the Chester Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery. Friends are requested to call at the Cunningham home tonight and Friday night.
