Mr. Reynolds, 75, departed this earthly life and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. He was a good friend and a great man. He will be greatly missed.
He was born in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Katherine Harmon Reynolds. He worked for Piggly Wiggly for over 50 years. Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Cherry Reynolds Russell and Kathy Anne Reynolds Irvin. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Boyles Reynolds; three children, Scott (Lori) Reynolds, Angela Reynolds and Jason (Mandy) Reynolds; one grandchild, Corey Reynolds; two brothers, Terry (Joyce) Reynolds and David (Louise) Reynolds of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service celebrating the life and legacy of Gene Raymond Reynolds will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
