He was born May 29, 1940, in Lewistown, the son of the late Charles W. and Madeline (Neinan) Harpster.
Frank is survived by a niece, Marty Kenyon, and he was preceded by a sister, Marilyn Riland.
Frank was a graduate of Lewistown High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam.
He was employed at International Peripheral Systems Inc., from 1969-1993, and before at Friden Inc., 1967-1968, and later as a machinist at the American Viscose Corporation.
His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with Pastor John Walters officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
