Fred L. Alexander, age 74, of Blairsville, GA, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Friday, September 8, 2017. He was born on December 14, 1942 to Harvey L. Alexander and Francis Alexander Greer in Columbus, GA.

Fred enjoyed the outdoors and spent his free time hunting, fishing, and walking the woods collecting arrowheads. He was a Champion Skeet Shooter and an artist. His artistic talent led him into a lifetime of printing. Fred owned and operated Fast Fred’s Printing Service in Columbus, GA until his retirement.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Emmalee Alexander.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife, sons, daughters; grandchildren; great grandchildren; favorite niece and nephew.

A family service was held on September 8, 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
