Cleo Amundson, 86, Las Vegas, formerly of Grand Forks and Northwood, N.D., died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Las Vegas.
Cleo Irving Amundson was born Oct. 17, 1914, the son of Conrad and Isabelle (Higgins) Amundson, in Berthold, N.D. He graduated from high school in Northwood. He attended Aakers Business College, Grand Forks. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II. He lived in New York City and New Mexico before moving to Las Vegas. He worked as a document filer for the U.S. Government.
He is survived by a sister, Joyce Hollevoet, Grand Forks.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Amundson Funeral Home.
Visitation: One hour before services in the funeral home., Burial: Washington Lutheran Cemetery, Northwood.

Cleo Irving Amundson, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 17, 1914, in North Dakota. A resident for many years, he was a document filer for the federal government.
He is survived by one sister, Joyce Hollevoet of Grand Forks, N.D.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Northwood, N.D. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
