Raymon Earl Sollie, 73, of Valdosta died at Fellowship Home following a short illness. He was born on August 17, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late James Sollie and Annie Maurine Brown Sollie. Mr. Sollie was an Airforce veteran. He was a member of New Vision Church of God in Homerville. Mr. Sollie liked to paint and garden. He also enjoyed golf and fishing. He also loved to cook.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Greg Lee of Valdosta; son, Michard Sollie of Tallahassee; grandchild, Brooklyn Faith Lee of Valdosta; and former wife, Judie Sollie of Valdosta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Samuel H. Sollie; and sisters, Jo Anne Karr and Helen Sims.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2 pm at Carson McLane Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jerry Baldree officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Tallahassee National Cemetery.
