MINNEOLA - Dorothy M. Wise, 98, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the
Minneola Long Term Care Unit.
She was born April 14, 1919 at Bronson, Kansas the daughter of Charlie and Pernie (Mefford) Fuhrman. A Minneola resident for the past 58 years, moving from Fowler, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Minneola Christian Church and was an avid quilter and belonged to the Minneola Quilt Club.
On December 31, 1959 she married Raymond G. Wise at Meade. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2016. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, Linda Rae Wise, 2 brothers, Charlie and William "Bill" Fuhrman and a sister, Mary Ellen Lauppe. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday, July 17, 2017 at Minnis Mortuary, Minneola with Pastor Suzie Woods officiating.
Burial will follow in the Appleton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 am to service time at Minnis Mortuary.
