Mary Joyce Conley, age 71, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Hospice of Hope Kenton Pointe Care Center, in Maysville, Kentucky. She was born September 25, 1942, to the late James Wheeler and Mary Mineer Shelton. She was a member of the Christian Baptist Church.

She is survived by: her husband Rowal Roger Conley, who she married April 26, 1961; her children, Teresa (Mike) Moran, of Crescent Springs, Kentucky, Sherry (Jay) Hinson, of Germantown, Kentucky, Roberta (David) Smith, of Germantown, Kentucky, and Rusty (Mindi) Conley, of Maysville, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Riggs, Darlene Brown and Joan Hoskins; two brothers, James Allen Wheeler and Frederick Shelton; and step-mother, Lillie Wheeler. She was preceded in death by: three sisters, Janice Cooper, Phyliss Wise and Evelyn McKay; foster parents, George and Elizabeth Bailey; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Palmer Funeral Home, in Germantown, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Hope.
