BOYD — Gerald C. Lancor, 67 of Boyd died Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at Mayo-Luther Hospital.
He was born Feb. 7, 1949, to the late Clarence and Mary (Wellner) Lancor. Jerry graduated from Cadott High School. He grew up north of Boyd on the family farm, where he raised his family and farmed his entire life. He was united in marriage to Dierdra Blum May 7, 1977.

Jerry had a passion for antique John Deere tractors and gas engines. He bought his first gas engine at the age of 12, and continued to grow his collection throughout the years. He enjoyed antique tractor pulls and going to machinery sales with Michael. Jerry also enjoyed riding four-wheeler along the river, going to the cabin, and family get-togethers.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dierdra of Boyd; children, Julie (Dan) Yeager of Boyd, Daniel Kane of Cadott, Lisa (Troy) Arneson of Buffalo City, Jenny Lancor of Winona, and Michael Lancor of Boyd; grandchildren, Alan and Derek Yeager, Merissa, Stephanie and Megan Kane and Ella, Alyvia, Maverick and Kinley Arneson; one (Yeager) great-grandchild on the way; and his faithful companion, Pepper.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Christopher.
A funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Boyd, with Father William Felix and Deacon Ned Willkom officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, and 9:30 a.m. until time of departure to church Wednesday.
