Charles City — Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p. m. at the Hauser funeral home for D. B. Nelson, 44, who died unexpectedly at his home Thursday night following a heart attack; had suffered from a heart ailment; burial in Riverside cemetery; had been employed as a dragline operator; born Mar. 2, 1906, in Washington county, Arkansas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson; married Mary Henning at Charles City, Oct. 20, 1924; lived in Colwell before moving to Charles City, where they resided until last April; leaves wife, four daughters, Mrs. Nettie Vetter, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Barbara Tynan, Betty Ann Nelson and Deloris Nelson, all of Charles City, and a son, Glen Nelson, serving with the navy at San Diego, Cal.; three brothers, Richard Nelson, Elmsburg, Wash.; Fines Nelson, West Liberty, and Karl Nelson, Charles City, one sister, Miss Nettie Nelson, Charles City, and one grandchild; a daughter, one brother, two sisters and his parents, preceded him in death.

Burial plot also includes grand-children Lizabeth Jean Tynan and Jeffery E. Watkins.
