Raymond Tubbs, 90, of Blum passed away March 25, 2015 in Blum. He was born July 18, 1924 in Belton to William James and Lydia Ann Jackson Tubbs. He married Glenda Garner in Glen Rose.

Mr. Tubbs served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked at Santa Fe Railroad for 10 years as a sheet metal worker and was owner and operator of a roofing company for 12 years. He loved his cat and watching and feeding his birds. Raymond never met a stranger and was the most loving, generous and soft hearted husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blum.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Glenda Tubbs; five children; 12 grand children and numerous great grand children; sister, Dorothy Huffman and lots of friends. Preceded in death by his parents; grand daughter, Angie Melinda Tubbs; four sisters and five brothers.

Service will be conducted March 30, 2015 in the Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Blum Cemetery. CPFH
