Passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord Jesus at the age of 96. Ed is fondly remembered by 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and was predeceased by one grandchild and one great grandchild. Ed is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Albert (Lorna) of Wakeman, Ohio, Lydia Kinnear, of Duncan, BC and Elenora Kraushar of Vancouver, BC.

Ed was born November 29, 1910 on the farm in Wolseley, Saskatchewan. He moved to Peterborough, Ontario as a young man to study industrial electricity and then worked for General Electric. He married Olive in May 1937. They moved to Edmonton where Ed started his own engine and motor repair shop, later incorporated as Renown Industries Ltd, working tirelessly until his retirement. Ed enjoyed working on all kinds of machinery, camping in the mountains, puttering in his garden with Olive, and serving in his church. His pride and joy were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dad, what an example you were and so loved by us all.
