Passed away early Saturday morning, September 9, 2017, at the Chesaning Nursing Care Center, age 84.

Janet moved here in 2011, from Texas. She graduated from the University Of Maryland School Of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse. Janet was very active at the North Richland Hills Baptist Church in Texas. She taught Bible study and did nursing home ministry.

Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Norman; her three sons, Dr. Jeryl (Sherry) Hartt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Daniel (Judy) Hartt of North Richland Hills, Texas, David (Shari) Hartt of Chesaning; and seven grandchildren. Her two sisters, Betty and Doris, and an infant brother have passed away before her.

Janet has been cremated. A service will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on Friday, September29, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
