CAUSE OF DEATH:
Accidental Electrocution. James was working for Swanson Contracting Company which was in the process of aligning CTA tracks for the new Ashland terminal at 63rd Street and Loomis Boulevard. James was applying bolt clamps on the third elevated CTA rail when his track medal touched the rail. His medal caused his electrocution.
