He was born December 19, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ray and Emily Casto.
He was a member of David Lutheran Church. Jim enjoyed working with wood and most of all, loved his family.
Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Graves.
Survived by his wife, Virginia Casto; three children, David (Joe Sadowsky) Casto, Anne (Susan White) Casto and Emily (Christopher) Blissmer; grandchildren, Zachary Casto, Nicholas Casto, Virginia Anne Blissmer and James Blissmer; siblings, Barbara Pabst and Judy (Jerry) Williams; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit 5-8:00pm on Wednesday, October 4, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Leslie Fox will begin at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 5, at the funeral home. Interment at Betzer Cemetery.
