Farris Gene Keith, 69, passed away October 1, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS.
Gene loved his children and spending time with his grandchildren and grandchildren. He loved riding his four wheeler to the creek, shooting his rifle, fishing and just enjoying life. He enjoyed working on old cars; he was a Ford man through and through.
Services will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Jimmy Webb will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Survivors: the mothers of his children-Hope Welch and Kathy Keith; son-Farris Keith(Terra); daughter-Lee Ann Whitaker(Steven); stepson-Nathan Melton; 9 grandchildren-Kristen, Matthew, Austin and Zack Whitaker, Brittney and Kaylyn Keith, Dalton and Blake Clark and McKenzie Melton; brothers-Dub Keith(Faye) and Tommy Keith(Brenda); sisters-Inez Frazier(Jimmy), Lyn Bowlin(Steve) and Tammy Simmons(Johnny); numerous nieces and nephews; and three great grandchildren-Kaylee Keith, Waylon Gilmore and Amity Clark.
