Sheila R. Perry, 64, of Mount Carmel, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville, IN surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 21, 1953 in Wabash County, IL the daughter of Ralph K. Lawrence and Mary Ann (Henson) Riggs. Sheila was the oldest of her five siblings whom she loved dearly.

Sheila will always be remembered for being a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and she could often be found cheering them on at their sporting events. She also enjoyed getting together with her family and friends playing cards. Sheila was a member of Heartland Worship Center in Mount Carmel. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Sheila will be remembered by her two daughters, Michele Wagner and husband, Mark of Mount Carmel and Kim Pearson and husband, Barry of Mount Carmel; four grandchildren, Mark (Nichole) Wagner II, Tyler Wagner, Kasey Pearson and Kami Pearson; two great granddaughters, Harlie Jo and Temperance Paige Wagner; brother, Thomas Treadway of Fort Branch, IN; three sisters, Joyce (Richard) Stringfellow, Jenny (Charley) Adams and Rebecca Dudley all of Mount Carmel; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Perry and brother, Mark Treadway.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Heartland Worship Center, 212 W. 2nd Street, Mount Carmel, IL.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Church with Pastor Tony Hodgson and Brother Brandon Hodgson officiating. Burial will follow at Coffee Cemetery in Keensburg, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sheila's memory to Heartland Worship Center.
