CASA GRANDE — Georgia Elizabeth (Stout) Carr Dillard Lee, 89, of Tucson, died on Sept. 12, 2017.
Mrs. Lee was born on May 8, 1928 in Silverton, Texas, to Fannie Elizabeth and George Stout. She touched the lives of many and took pride in living her life very near to God. She was baptized at age 9 at First Baptist Church in Texas and converted to Catholicism later in life.
She had a kind heart and loved many people. She was a nurturer who took care of those dearest to her. She moved to Casa Grande in 1972 and worked in different jobs, including as a licensed practical nurse, factory worker and cook, always considering herself an “honest worker."
She married Vincent Lee, the man who brought her much joy and happiness.
Survivors include 11 sons and daughters: Leonard Carr, Gerri Carr, Benita Cole, Catherine Chmil, Geraldine Wartez, Merle LeCompt, Penny Babalya, Robin Cronin, Bob Dillard, Vincent Lee III and Mark Lee; three grandchildren she helped raise: Michelle Saxton, Candice and Larry Carr; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Aden Carr, Howard Dillard and Vincent Lee; two sons: Jimmie William “Bill” Carr and Peter Lee; a brother, Edward “Ed” Fause; a daughter; and three infant sons.
Visitation from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel.
Graveside service following in Mountain View Cemetery.
