Dallastown, On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, Adam Q. Trout, 40, passed away at home with family by his side. He was the husband of Penny M. (Matthews) Trout.

He was born on June 6, 1977 in York to David H. and Joyce L. (Snyder) Trout.

Adam attended Red Lion Bible Church. He was employee of Azura Vascular Care for the past six years and worked in the I.T. department. He had previously worked as an I.T. for the Baltimore Mayor from around 2002 to 2011. In his spare time he enjoyed kayaking, hiking, reading, gaming and photography. Adam volunteered his time to many organizations, such as setting up photo booths for military families.

Surviving him are his wife; parents; two children, Dessa and Brandon Trout; two brothers, Larry Trout and wife, Cindy, Eric Trout and wife, Christy; three sisters, Trish Walizer and husband, Eric, Laura Vasold and husband, Lawrence "L.G." III, and Charlotte Newcomer and husband, Keith; and many nieces and nephews.

Public viewing will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 8 at Hartenstein Funeral and Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 9. Cremation will follow the service. A memorial park bench is being made in his memory and, in a few months, will be located in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
