Frank Edward Evans, age 73, of Pounding Mill, VA formerly of Benton, KY passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. He was born in Buchanan, VA on June 19, 1944 and was the son of the late Troy and Orpha Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Evans: one brother, James Evans; one sister, Helen Evans; one grandson, Gregory Gavin. Mr. Evans is survived by three children, Michael Kinder of Marion, NC, Patricia Evans of Pounding Mill, VA, and Frank L. Evans and wife Lisa of Vansant, VA; one brother, Charles Evans and wife Nina of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren, Karen Smith, Marcella Smith, Tiffany Smith, Scott Everding, Dillon Everding, Chloe Everding, Grace Evans, and Clayton Evans; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Bond, Carter Bond, and Kayden Sirants; two nephews, Robert Evans and Ken Evans.
Military Graveside Rites will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 13, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery in Delhi, Iowa.
