Bobby Ray Waddell, the son of the late Harvey Waddell and Sadie Mae Ward Waddell, was born Friday, July 27, 1934 in Pascola, Mo.
On July 2, 1955 in Advance, Missouri, Bobby united in marriage to Jacqueline Hamilton who preceded him in death on December 25, 2000.
Bobby was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mr. Waddell was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He was the owner of Macon Hybrid Seed Company and along with his brother Bueford Waddell, owner of a Bonanza Steak House.
Bobby loved to watch St. Louis Cardinals Baseball with his brother Bueford. He also enjoyed traveling with his family, reading Civil War history and listen to Southern Gospel Music.
Mr. Waddell died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Twin Rivers Medical Center in Poplar Bluff and the age of 83 years.
He is survived by 5 daughters: Cheryl Waddell-Horn (David) of Decatur, Ill., Linda Speer and Teresa Bates (Jimmy) both of Piggott, Ark., Maxine Crouse of Ocala, Fla., and Celette Soliz of Jonesboro, Ark.; 11 grandchildren: Mandy Macomb (Karl), Tara Lynch (Kevin), Audra Snell, Misty Pearson (Damien), Jackie Schultz (Ed) Kristen Morgan (Josh), Samantha Waddell, Rolanda Soliz and Joshua Soliz; one sister: Brenda Strange (Daniel) of San Antonio, Texas; and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Mark Waddell and Bobby R. Waddell Jr.; one brother: Bueford Waddell; two sisters Wanda Stultz and Helen Chappell.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert Moore and his nurse Ashley.
Visitation will be held at Bradshaw Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m., with Military Rites. Pastor Brett Randall will be officiating.
